This Toy Bear represents all the teddy bears in the world. It is here to provide play, fun, and comfort. It is a trigger of positive emotion and a reminder of all the happy moments of our childhood. The Bear’s round shapes and soft curves embrace and hug everybody. It makes people feel cosy and warm.
Toy Bear is inspired by Jeff Koons' balloon animals and balloon dogs in particular. They always reminded me of childhood. They were shiny, perfect in form, and playful. They were “real visual luxury”, as Koons described them. The artist turned existing cultural artefacts into pieces of fine art. My Toy Bear comes from my own imagination but is filled with the same energy of inner balance, joy, and unconditional happiness.
